I'm not much of a poet, but here are a few poems I've written. This one was written 3 years ago, and I thought it's a pretty good illustration of the importance of punctuation.
Loving you
Looking back on memories we never made
Missing places I've never been
Remembering things I never knew
Breaking a habit I've never had
Loving you!
Wishing for things that don't exist
Kissing you when you're not there
Wrapping my arms around myself
Looking for your eyes in the mirror
