Introduction to a fluffy world
Unknown by most, there is behind some facebook profiles an entire world with its own economy, its own rules, and its own drama : fluffworld.
A few addicts play the game for hours on end every day, petting other people's fluffy animals to gain 5 munny.
With that, they can buy a limited edition (LE) turkle (turkey) in the "LE shop" for 15000 munny. Yes, you read me right. That's a LOT of petting.
There are entire websites devoted to being "petting zoos" - where people post their individual links and pet each other's fluffs. Oh and everytime someone pets YOU, you earn 3 munny. With a limit of 5000 pets per month.
Oh and the feeding. You *need* to feed your fluff, and other people's fluffs, and race them. Every race you do, you bet, and you earn points if you win (and also if you lose, but less). You can only race 20 times per hour, which isn't much, considering that's 100 race points maximum per hour, and to buy a "shine shell", you need 10000 points.
Your life can be SO much simpler if you just buy gold, the most coveted currency. 1 gold (LG in the forums) can easily be traded for 800-1000 munny.
10 gold costs 1 dollar if you decide to buy rather than trade.
And the most coveted "mega-minis" - special animals you can add to your "habitat" cost up to 7000 gold (but mostly 3000 gold), which amounts to about 300-700 USD.
Many people spend hours petting, trading, speculating, and stocking up on items that are soon to become rare and valuable in the LE shop. In hopes of not needing to spend that much actual money to buy a blue uniko, a pink uniko, or a foxee.
My name is Alexandra, and I am a fluff-addict.
